Missing You (RTÉ One, 8.30pm)

Tonight we will see the second episode of the new RTÉ show, which is the world’s first documentary series filmed almost entirely via Skype calls. Tonight the Flood family are reunited in Australia but Gemma is in for a shock when her mam reveals a secret.

The Passengers That Took On the Train Line (BBC2, 9pm)

A group of commuters sick and tired of public transport in the UK (they wouldn’t last a minute here) aim to make a difference and make a more efficient and customer-friendly train service. They prepare their plan to submit to the Department of Transport, meeting experts and discovering the shocking truths behind one of Britain’s worst services.

Fargo (Channel 4, 10pm)

The third series of Fargo begins tonight and features flashbacks to 1975 when sci-fi author Thaddeus Mobley is approached by film director Howard Zimmerman in relation to his award winning novel The Planet Wyh. Back in 2010, Gloria revisits her stepfather’s past while investigating his murder. This leads her to Los Angeles for some answers.

Fearless (TV3, 10pm) A brand new crime drama focusing on human rights lawyer Emma Banville setting out to prove the innocence of Kevin Russell. Russell was convicted with the murder of a schoolgirl 14 years ago and Banville wants justice for him.

Walk the Line (RTÉ One, 9:35pm) Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon star in the oscar winning life story of Johnny Cash.

Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords (Be3, 8pm) Documentary series highlighting the victims of the buy-to-let boom. A mother has to apply to a housing charity after the flat she is renting makes her children ill.

Neven Maguire: Healthy Home Chef (RTÉ2, 8pm) Neven teaches guest star Tommy Bowe how to make beef tagine, while showing viewers how to prepare paella and beef kofta.

The Local Eye (RTÉ One, 7.30pm) A series reflecting on scenes from local papers in Ireland over the years. Tonight reporters cover a comedy workshop for the homeless and the temptations of a five star luxury cruise.
